Preview 8th Nov Peepshow.

Peepshow debuts on Saturday 8th November in the welcoming confines of the Backroom of the Bully, Cowley Road, Oxford.

Throughout the night, our resident DJs alanM and Peepshow Paddy will be playing a selection of choice cuts with anything from electro to nu-jazz, house to hip-hop, and disco to broken beats to keep your feet moving and your faces smiling. alanM will be warming up before and between bands, whilst Peepshow Paddy will close the evening's fun and games, keeping you dancing until the wee hours.

Our first live act of the evening are Oxford's finest purveyor's of laid back cinematic grooves, Laroca, who have expanded their line-up and commissioned their own visual display especially for Peepshow. They will be followed by a taste of Amsterdam nightlife with some atmospheric deep house brought to you all the way from Holland, via Abingdon, Omeron.

Our headline act of the evening, Bussetti are a seven piece hip-hop jazz funk band from South London set to show us why they have been wowing audiences with their high energy live performances. They were hand picked by the Big Chill to play the main stage at their festival at Eastnor Castle Deer Park over the summer, and have also been creating a buzz with their recent debut single 'Softly.'

With rave reviews in the press, and admirer's such as Mixmaster Morris, Laurent Garnier, and Four Tet's Kieran Hebden, who also remixed 'Softly,' and with their own stunning visual performance by bgpz, Bussetti are sure to be a real treat at Peepshow. Our visuals will be provided by some extremely talented individuals indeed. Birmingham based Myogenic will be travelling down the M40, taking a break from his residencies at Jigsaw, and Different Drummer's night, Leftfoot.

Amukidi is held in high esteem amongst his peers, and we look forward to seeing why at Peepshow, where he will be coming to us fresh from providing eye-candy on the Big Chill's iChill tour with Hint, Ralph Myers and the Jack Herren Band, Pete Lawrence, and Alucidnation.
bgpz is a resident of London's Soxan, and will be providing visuals for Bussetti, for whom he has been doing fine work for the past twelve months.

So, you get the Bullingdon's famously cheap drinks, quality entertainment by three live acts, two DJs, and three different VJs and it's all for the princely sum of £5.

Surely that's a top night out for everyone? Indeed it will be, it'll be a belter!
