JBX

Back to guest biographies // Back to artists // Homepage

JBX
Following their performance at this year's Big Chill festival, here's a rare chance to see JBX play live. The laid back, melodic songs of JBX have already caught the attention of Pete Lawrence (Big Chill), Rob da Bank (Sunday Best/Radio 1) and Kevin McKay (Glasgow Underground/Breastfed). Their sublime tune 'Are you missing the sun?' was included on iChill (Big Chill Recordings) and they have just finished recording their debut EP at the prestigious Liverpool Institute of Perorming Arts. This is their second gig in Oxford - their debut at the Port Mahon was reviewed by the BBC and drew comparisons to The Beach Boys and The Beatles. With their debut release penned in for early 2005, great things await JBX - catch them while you can.
