HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEEPSHOW!!!

Well we can't quite believe it but it's already nearly two years since Peepshow began, on an unforgettable night in autumn 2003. The capacity crowd in the back room of the Bully was a sign of things to come and we really made our name there with some fantastic nights. We'd like to thank everyone at the Bullingdon for making our first home such a special place for us.

And now as we turn two, it's time for a double celebration as our birthday goes back to back with the launch party at our new venue, the Zodiac. And what better way to do it, than by revisiting the carnage of Creepshow! Billed in DJ mag as 4th best night in the country, last year's legendary Halloween fancy dress party was a monstrously messy affair never to be forgotten (see some evidence below...) and there was no way we could let another year go by without doing it again!

It's an incredible night in store at this year's Creepshow, with possibly our best line-up yet. We are truly honoured to bring to you pioneers of audio-visual music, Ninja Tune's inspirational duo Hexstatic, who perform an all new and exclusive Halloween set especially for Creepshow. As anyone lucky enough to have seen them play live can attest, they put on a mind-blowing show and shouldn't be missed. You never forget the first time you see Hexstatic.

In a nice twist of fate, it was a year ago when Mylo played at Peepshow, and whom is currently making waves once again in the old hit parade with his 'Dr. Pressure' bootleg. Hexstatic had already done a video mash-up of the two tunes prior to Mylo getting his hands on it, which is now the official promo video that I'm sure you've all seen on MTV or whatever it is you kids watch these days! ;-) Anyway, congratulations Hexstatic on your chart success, nice one!!

Support comes from Sheffield based electronica act Digitonal,who perform live their re-score of Stanley Kubrick's the Shining as edited by fellow Yorkshire based visual crew, Media Lounge. An eerily beautiful, weirdly suitable electronica soundtrack to a horror classic. Perfect for Creepshow. Paddy saw it recently and described it in his own words: "It shat me right up it did." But then Paddy's a bit of a girl like that...

Our guest VJ is the inimitable Mavis from We Make Telly who repeats last year's back to back session of gore filled mash-up madness with resident VJ Myogenic. Will George Dubbya make another appearance?! And your DJs, returning from the dead once again, are Creepshow Paddy and alanM-orgue.

All this, and with spectacular Peepshow Halloween decor, our unique apple bobbing, ghosties, ghoulies, and all manner of audio-visual creeps and freaks, another classic night is in store. You get a discount for coming in fancy dress, and there's even a prize for the best costume, so get ready for some proper murder on the dancefloor. It really is gonna be wicked...

If you buy advance tickets for Creepshow, and plan on coming in fancy dress, (and we understand most of you seem to be dressing up!), then as advance tickets are £7 and fancy dress entry is £6, you will get a free beer to make up for paying the extra £1 for the advance ticket...

MAVIS has unfortunately had to pull out of Creepshow due to a family bereavement. Our best wishes go out to her and her family.

Her place will be taken by Mach V from popular London audio-visual club night SoxaN.
