We've been gagging to book Manchester's RSL since the first moment we were blown away - like everyone else - by Wesley Music, the festival anthem of summer 2003 and a tune absolutely caned by Paddy, last heard at the finale of Creepshow. The debut album, 'Every Preston Guild' that they have just dropped proves they are far more than a one trick pony, receiving five star reviews in the press and on permanent rotation here at Peepshow towers.
A three piece in the studio, who mutate into a nine-piece monster when playing live, making incredible, soulful, funky latin dance music at it's best and without a computer in sight! Pant-creamingly exciting stuff. We're honoured to play host to them on their first nationwide tour.

Every Preston Guild
Features hit single 'Wesley Music' which was voted Listeners Track of the Year on Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 Worldwide show.
"a magnificent debut from one of Britain's best live bands, this is a very very special record indeed. 5/5" I-DJ Album of the Month
"leaders of the leftfield...real music with real instruments" Rob Da Bank
"ambitious, free-flowing and uplifting...RSL can rock the house anywhere" Straight No Chaser
"the work of really great musicians" Straight No Chaser
"it's got energy and the jazzy groove...I can't wait to hear more stuff from RSL" Gilles Peterson

Belleruche become the first live act to perform twice at Peepshow. Made up of turntablist wizard (though he wouldn’t admit it) DJ Modest cutting up hip hop breaks and blues records, with hot jazz guitar by Armond and sublime chanteuse vocals from Kathrin deBoer, Belleruche create the sound made if “Django Reinhardt and Cut Chemist got stuck in a lift with hundreds of records,” apparently!
Nurturing their cult following in London with regular gigs around the capital, most recently at Cargo, and their weekly residency at the Salmon & Compass, they recently wowed audiences at Oxford's Bossaphonik in October. And since debuting with us back in June 2004, they have gone on to release two fantastic singles, Reflection / Bird Mess and The Itch, which received rave reviews in DJ Mag, Straight No Chaser, Source Magazine, and Juice Magazine, and radio play from Norman Jay MBE, Rob Luis (Tru Thoughts), and Jonny Reggae (Catskills). Both singles are available from their website, www.belleruche.com
We're glad to have them back!

Amukidi
We welcome back Amukidi to throw more of his beautiful visuals at the giant all new Peepshow screens. With 20 years' experience as an art school lecturer, specialising in colour theory and composition, he is well versed in making things look good, and has VJd for Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Tom Middleton, Fred Deakin, Lol Hammond, Roger Eno and Pete Lawrence to name but a few.
