Following up last years sell out Peepshow Christmas Presents local band showcase, we do it again, hosting some true Oxford legends of electronic music, now achieving success internationally.

If ever there was a cult band, it’s The Egg, and those of us who followed their antics, their limb-wrigglingly blissful concerts, and their ridiculously contagious ‘Albumen’ and ‘Travelator’ albums will understand why here at Peepshow, we've been gagging to book them since day one. The band who have done everything from being Gary Oldman’s mum’s backing band (in the film ‘Nil By Mouth’) to playing the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, return to their roots, at the Zodiac.
Their latest album, Forwards has earned glowing reviews, with the current single Walking Away being Pete Tong's essential new tune on Radio one.

“laconic, romantic, psychedelic - a band of our times”
The BBC
"like New Order floating off a cloud”
The Observer
"The power and capability to transport you somewhere sunny and warm"
DJ Mag
"The Egg pick up where the Orb left off... class act"
Touch
"They continue to confound, with their mix of synths and conventional instruments... there's always an edge to it"
The Independent

The Egg
The Spiralist
We had to get them back after such a storming debut gig - which was only their first ever - at last years Christmas Peepshow. The band who have risen from the ashes of the Animalhouse, with Jason King and Hari Teah's blend of great breaks, cool grooves and lush harmonies.
And seen by many as continuing in Oxford what the Egg began, with former Egg man Mark Revell on guitar we see some apt symmetry with our headliners. It's a band of incredibly talented musicians, the Spiralist make melodic pop music at it’s best.
Mach V
We're proud to welcome back guest VJ Mach V, of popular London audio-visual club, SoxaN. This multi-talented fella (Mach V also DJs, playing out the funkiest d'n'b imaginable) and all round top geezer is becoming something of a Peepshow regular, having stepped up at short notice to play at Creepshow 2 in October. He's always very welcome, his vast array of visuals are truly stunning, so much so that he is now plays visuals in a band, as one third of top upcoming electronica act Echasketch.
