Here at Peepshow Towers, we're incredibly excited about the visit of Coldcut to Oxford. After bringing out the Ninja in you when we brought you the astounding Hexstatic, to be sharing a bill with the legendary creators of the audio-visual scene without which Peepshow wouldn't exist, is a dream come true.
The people who brought you Ninja Tune, and er Yazz, are perpetually re-inventing themselves, and have done so yet again with their long anticipated critically acclaimed new album, Sound Mirrors. And in another rare event, they have already started a major tour to promote the record, with a series of live dates. Catch them whilst you can...

Once the gig is over, you can stay in for Peepshow, with resident DJ Peepshow Paddy, and special guests Burt Latino and DJ BarryDark. Visuals will be taken care of by resident VJ Myogenic on visuals, with special guest Mavis accompanying Burt Latino.
Burt Latino, this morning
The one and only and extremely unique Burt Latino will be playing his usual eclectic mix of quirky infectious tunes from around the world and beyond, as well as brand new tunes from the forthcoming Burt Latino and Friends "Sex & Drugs & Squeaky Toys" album. Add into the mix some scintillating visuals by Mavis and you got yourself a PARTY! Big fun, uplifting, optimistic music for free thinking children of all ages, guaranteed bounce you bottom and put a rather large smile on your face!!!!!
Massive Coldcut fan and big pal of Peepshow, DJ BarryDark comes to us fresh from hosting some of London's finest underground gallery parties as one half of the Digital City crew. A very talented DJ, seamlessly mixing up an impressive array of live bootlegs, he's always a pleasure to play alongside and it's great to have him back.
One of the first women VJs in the UK, Mavis has been creating visuals and VJing for the last six years. Her visuals bring back the basics of beauty, form, colour, and humour, whilst still looking forward in style and content. Currently collaborating with Burt Latino, Mavis has created a set of funny, energetic, beautiful, cheeky visuals for his new album and live show. The pair are regular performers at the Big Chill bar, and bring us all the energy and fun they showed at this year’s Big Chill and Bestival.
That's it, it's not often Oxford sees such genuine legends of the audio-visual scene. Or Coldcut for that matter... ;-)
