Gibbo 30

Hi,

Apologies if you've already received an invitation to this on Facebook, and also apologies for the short notice if this is the first you've heard about the party!

Either way, in case you don't know, then lovely Libby Gibsone turns 30 on 20th December and she wants to have a party to celebrate. Now I was hoping to make this a surprise do for her, but she keeps talking about it so it might not be that easy to surprise her on the big day. So, I've decided to organise it for the day before - Friday 19th - she's not expecting that!

Lovely Libby Gibsone

We've exclusive use of the downstairs of a lovely venue:

Gramaphone
60-62 Commercial Street
Spitalfields, London
E1 6LT

And it takes place from 9pm-3.30am. PLEASE arrive early though so we can surprise her properly! I'll arrive with Libby at around 10pm so if you're there by then, that would be great!

In homage to Libby's favourite TV show, the final of which also happens to fall on her birthday, there is a theme of Strictly Come Dancing, so if you fancy it, get yer swankiest glad rags on! Dressing up is not obligatory of course.

Now it's going to be a 'Stick It On' type party, where all the guests (you) come and play 20 minutes of their favourite tunes! If the idea of playing music in public doesn't appeal then don't worry - the main thing is that you're there to help her celebrate! But, if you DO want to come and spin 20 minutes of your favourite party tunes on the big night, then let me know what you plan on playing, and a silly DJ name... You can play CDs or vinyl and don't worry, the less experience you have the better - we'll have a professional DJ on hand to show you what to do...

You could be this cool too!

Right, that's it - please DON'T tell her I told you about this, please DO come on the night! Really hope you can make it, please let me know either way if you can.

Cheers,

Paddy

PS - Feel free to forward this to anyone I may have missed who would like to help her celebrate!
