The Peepshow only comes out to play on special occasions, and this one is particularly special. 27th February is not only my Mum's birthday, but also when Introducing play their first London show. Having already blown away the crowds at Festinho, and at a sold-out show at Skylarkin' in Oxford last year, this eight-piece are set to go huge in 2009. Festivals are falling over themselves to book them - Rob Da Bank was ahead of the game as ever and personally booked them for both Bestival and Camp Bestival this summer. See why on YouTube and don't miss the chance to see em up close in person whilst you still can...

The Guinness Book of Records lists DJ Shadow's seminal 'Endtroducing' as the first album to be composed entirely of samples. So, the proposition of a band made up of real people, playing real instruments, recreating this record completely live from start to finish, note for note, drum loop for drum loop, word for word, with no backing track or sequencing would on paper seem to be an impossible one - yet Introducing pull it off in true style.

Feast your eyes and ears on some youtube clips from the aforementioned shows, by clicking here.

Also on the bill is Flevans, who celebrates the launch of his 3rd album '27 Devils' with a DJ set, having recently resigned to Tru-Thoughts. Live support comes from Laroca, who will be previewing material from their forthcoming second album 'Valley of the Bears', out in June on Just Music, the label which launched the career of Coldplay associate, Jon Hopkins, now signed to Domino. The funkiest party starting bootlegger in the west Del Gazeebo joins resident DJ and promoter Peepshow Paddy, co-founder of the infamous 'Disco Shed' to complete the musical line-up.

Peepshow wouldn't be complete without visual accompaniment of the highest order, which comes from VJs Myogenic and Mach V, who will be interspersing live footage of the show as it happens.
