Even at the best of times, I'm not the type of person who gets things done quickly - especially with another summer of festivalling in the Disco Shed to get through - but after another epic break since February, I thought it was about time to get the Peepshow going again, particularly with our sixth birthday around the corner.
And in a stroke of luck, this was around the time the lovely people at Novation and Ableton fancied throwing a party to showcase their brilliant products. So, we thought we'd team up and bring you the best of both worlds!
So, a brand new night is born! Peepshow Innovations launches on 14th November, at Cafe 1001 on Brick Lane, with a familiar but no less than stellar headline act. And best of all, it's completely FREE!
Second best of all, and if ever proof were needed that 6 years of Peepshow and the Disco Shed have aged me beyond my tender years, it finishes at midnight and I'm delighted! Yes, you can just about catch the last tube home, or go on somewhere else afterwards - bonus!

Since it's launch 10 years ago, Ableton has transformed the concept of live performance for electronica artists and DJs alike, with adopters including Richie Hawtin and Sasha, and is now ubiquitous in clubland and beyond.
To mark this decade, Ableton and Novation have teamed up with club promoters Peepshow to launch a new night 'Innovations', on Saturday 14th November at Cafe1001 on East London's Brick Lane.
Completely free, Innovations guarantees good times whilst showcasing how some of the most exciting electronic acts in the business use Ableton Live and Novation controllers. And the party vibe is all set with a live set ftrom legendary electronic improvisers The Bays, plus a DJ set from Freerange Records' Matt Masters.
The first Innovations night also marks the launch of Novation's new Ableton Live controller Launchpad, Novation's own developers will be there putting the new Ableton Live controller through its paces - so get down early!
